plaster, plaster, plaster … and plaster!

// While some of our group start with the woodwork for the roof, our locals are already plastering the first interior walls! Each one of us is allowed to help! For the plaster mixture sand, cement and water are brought to the large concrete surface in the hall and mixed there with shovels! A great technique and fascinating to watch! Then the red-brown plaster is applied to the walls and after a short drying time too thick plaster thicknesses are scraped off with an aluminum mat. Then the surface is softly moistened with a brush, rubbed with a rubbing board and peeled off with a sponge! Done is the plaster surface!
