Während wir auf dem Weg zum Flughafen sind, finalisiert unser lokales Team noch einige Details: Sie verputzen Laibungen und verlegen Estrich. Das lokale Team besteht aus Männern und Frauen aus den umliegenden Dörfern, die im Rahmen der Bauprojekte für das Ithuba Community College in Mzamba Fertigkeiten erlernt und ausgebaut haben. Mittlerweile sind viele von ihnen richtige Profis im Mauern, Verputzen, im Verlegen von Estrich und allem, was dazu gehört. Andere sind dieses Jahr neu zur Gruppe gestoßen und haben vom Know-How der anderen gelernt. Wir konnten nicht nur von den Fähigkeiten in Sachen Baustelle von unseren „locals“ lernen, sondern ihre Kultur, ihren Alltag und ihre Lebensweise kennenlernen und so viele neue Freunde gewinnen! Wir danken euch von ganzem Herzen, dass ihr uns eure Welt nicht nur gezeigt, sondern und in dieser mit offenen Armen empfangen habt! Wir haben selten so viel Wärme und Freundschaft gespürt!
